The Journal of Science, Vocational and Technical Education (JOSVTE) of the Faculty of Vocation and Technical Education, Adeyemi Federal University of Education, Ondo is conceived as a multidisciplinary journal devoted to publishing scholarly and well-researched articles in the areas of Science, Agriculture, Business Education, Entrepreneurship, Fine and Applied Arts, Home Economics and other fields of General Education. Our collective goal is to make the Journal the authoritative publication in the area of Vocational and Technical Education Studies research. The Journal is a repository for knowledge about Science, Vocational, Technical and Entrepreneurship Education from the perspective of Vocational Education theories and methods. Its intent is to be international in scope and to chart new research directions for solving inter-disciplinary problems related to Vocational Education. The Journal provides substantive literature on Vocational, Technical and Entrepreneurship Education issues with articles that illustrate research in this aspect of education well highlighted.
The central criteria for publication are that the material in the genre of the above topics be theoretically and/or empirically based and be substantive in the sense of proposing, discovering, or replicating previous research, we strive to have material clearly written and concise in language. In addition, the topics should be timely and most importantly, the manuscripts must have a research or policy orientation and must make a contribution to knowledge and the development of theory or new information, substantiation, or contradiction of previous findings. All manuscripts are peered-review anonymously by editors with recognized competence in the topics submitted. From the recommendations of the Editors, the Executive Editors timely decide the disposition of a manuscript for prompt publication bi-annually (June and December). The Journal of Science, Vocational and Technical Education is published under a Creative Commons CC BY-NC 4.0 license.
The Editorial Board believes that scholarly journals are the most important media in shaping the research and policy directions of any field. To this end, the responsibility for this gate keeping function would continue to be shared as widely as possible. The editors and editorial board remain committed to the task of creating an innovative environment for scholarly publications.
